Well not actually Me and my shadow, but looking at the shape it could well be as I'm much larger at the bottom than the top, think it's to much sitting on my backside. It is however another link with a song and leads me into a good story.
I went outside last night to get a good capture of the moon, unfortunately I couldn't find it. I think it was having a night in with a good book and a glass of lava. As I came back in through the back door I noticed the good shadow of this bell.
Like a shadow this bell is following me around and it all started in the office of my last job. I had been watching a programme on the television about a busy call center and every time someone got a new customer they rang a little bell on their desk. I was working for a company that did electrical equipment testing, and jokingly said to my boss, "Why haven't I get a bell to ring when I give you a new customer?".
When I came to work the next day this brass bell was dangling next to my desk to the amusement of all the Engineers and the Boss. Years later I retired and the Engineers popped up to see me and set about fixing my brass bell next to my backdoor. If I ever get annoyed and get the hump you can all call me "Quasimodo", the bells, the bells.
Thank you for all your comments and FAV, isn't anyone sing the song yet, Me and my Shadow.
@philcameron59 Well spotted Phil, that Forest Green Rovers sticker should be in the back of my car.
