I'm afraid I've had to dive into my spares today as I haven't been feeling to good today, might have been some under cooked duck, It's alright I don't eat it really.
Every time I use the word duck I keep thinking about the different meanings of the word and the problems this could cause. You have our feathered friend above, and also the warning when something is flying towards you. I have this vision of standing by a pond watching the ducks when someone throws a brick at you and shouts "duck", do you react or keep feeding the ducks - bonk!!.
I also love the stance of this duck as it reminds me of a brush my parents kept in the fireplace. It was a duck where the neck was the brush handle and the bristles was it's breast, it stood in a holder that looked just like this. Best viewed with the black background.
Hopefully normal services will resume tomorrow for me, keep that water closet clear please.
S/he looks a little concerned, as though it can read your thoughts, and doesn't welcome the prospect of a cooking pot. Sorry to hear you've been under the weather, and best wishes for a speedy return to normal (for you!) x
