With this very hot weather I have all the windows and doors wide open, but last night, whilst trying to watch the TV my concentration was disturbed by the birds outside.
There on top of a telegraph pole next door was this blackbird singing at the top of his voice, it was fantastic. He only stopped to listen for any answers in the distance before starting up again. View with the dark background if you can as I had a little difficulty with the light.
Of course this leads me nicely into a music link and a track from 1971, sing along if you want and hopefully it will get stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
