Town and Country. by ladymagpie

Town and Country.

After a very wet morning I was able to get out with my camera for a quick capture. It's getting more and more difficult to find new scenes in my area but I found a spot that shows you not only the main town but crosses two valleys into the countryside.

The main town of Stroud is built on a hillside with the five various valleys going out like a starfish. Each valley has it's own river converging together before going out to the River Severn.

I'm stood on a high point in the town looking across one valley with houses built on it's side, and then the view over another valley in the countryside with a small village beneath the distant woods.

Thank you for all your Fish and Chip shop comments, I think I got the idea that most of you love them. View with dark surround.
Lovely shot Heather so much detail
