Well it's something completely different from me today, not my usual views or action from my naughty camera. A still life picture of deadwood on top of a wall which I spotted right next to me whilst taking yesterday's view.
Why it was there I don't know, but on the other side of the wall was an allotment and the owner of the patch of land below the wall may have put them there whit clearing for Winter. I just loved the textures of the wood as well as the ancient wall. Sorry if it's such a load picture with all that BARK on view.
Thank you for ll your recent comments and FAV's. it's very encouraging and keeps me going. View with the dark surround if you have time.
Interesting shapes and textures. I thought the same as Pat @happypat this would do nicely in our woodburner fire in winter. I will be along with the chain saw soon.
