I was taking a photograph of a building and had to climb a little roadside bank because of passing cars. I turned to look over the wall behind me and was confronted by this cute pair.
I just had to take their picture but couldn't stop thinking about lamb chops and mince sauce, I know it's cruel but they are very tasty. Saying that, lamb is so expensive these days I haven't bought any for years. So instead I will enjoy them bouncing around the fields in the Spring sunshine and putting a smile on my face. I love to see these little lambs & the way that brothers & sisters sit together. The best time to see them is when they are a little bit older & racing round the outer edges of the field. Lambs are lovely but are bred for a purpose Heather so good to think of mint sauce! Nobody would be a farmer for a hobby, you have to make a living!
Sweet! Whenever I see lambs I seriously think about going vegetarian but haven't quite made it yet, though we do try to be veggie as much as we can . Lovely photo.
they are so cute, maybe that is why lamb is so expensive. A true luxury these days. they could easily sell it for less, because upon cooking, it shrinks
