Today it's been a very soggy day, in fact I can say it's been raining most of the day and it's damp and chilly. Needless to say it has not been the day to take out the camera and get those captures for 365. For that reason I have one from the other day whilst sat on my front garden bench.
The last traffic I gave you was one of the horse riders from the stables around the corner, much more sedate and quiet. Today it's one of the local farmers that often travel back and forward through the village, and looking at the car next to it you can see how big this tractor is.
It's funny that you can hear him coming from the bottom of the hill, and out of the lower village. It does give you time to get the camera out and prepare for him. Usually he has a large spike on the front and he's carrying a large round bale of hay for the cattle in fields on the other end of the village. Looking at the rear equipment I would say that was his hedgerow trimmer, okay after the birds have finished nesting.
It might be a noisy tractor, but at least the farmer gives you a lovely wave as he passes by. Must get a picture of the Double Decker bus that goes through on the odd occasion, I feel sorry for those drivers as they have to navigate the narrow windy roads with often cars parked and blocking the way along it.
I’ll just keep sitting on my bench waving to the traffic and giving people walking by a nice smile.
We live in a rural part of the country; plenty of agricultural traffic here: it's harvesting time.
