Attended a little hometown fireworks in Mt. Airy and practiced focus pulling. Had the camera in bulb mode and would trigger the shutter with the cable remote in one hand while tuning the focus ring with the other hand. You start with the ring out of focus and quickly turn it to focus as the fireworks explode. You can get some interesting looking fireworks.
