Malcolm Douglas - A Great Australian 1941 - 2010.

This man was an Australian Icon.
He was tragically killed in a car accident on 23rd September 2010.
He was a great nature lover and fought had for the conservation of large areas of land in the far north of Australia that was under threat from mining.
His documentaries are just wonderful.
We have just finished watching one that he did in the Kimberleys in north west Australia.
I thought to share this wonderful man with you all.
See the link below It is worth reading about this lovely man.
He will be missed by all Australians.

He will be greatly missed..he was way to young to die...also when you think of how much more this wonderful man would have contributed to his beloved Austrailia. It probably was in the news but appreciate that you have let us know.

After reading the article, I must echo Mr. Mitchell's tribute: "We just hope someone will continue all the good work he's done,"
