Here is Lauren who works in the office next to mine. With no shot for the day, at 4:55 PM I asked if I could take her photo. How lucky am I to work with so many generous and wonderful people?
I hope Lauren will be happy with this shot, I think it captures her charming personality and her beauty. Thanks Lauren. :)
@nattybabe - Spot on Nat! - Lauren is an adult who embraces the fun side of her 'inner child' and her witty, (but incredibly left field) observations on life always make me laugh.
I really like this portrait Lyn - the colours, the natural pose etc.
I saw the one you did of your young colleague and she didnt seem quite real to me. This one however - very real. Lovely!
@tarasutherland thankyou so much Tara - I think that this is the best portrait I have taken so far, and I had such a sense of 'joy' when Lauren first saw it and was thrilled with it from her perspective. The other coloured portrait was actually the processing involved in the steps to achieve the processed sketch version http://365project.org/ltodd/extras/2011-10-21 and after I had posted it I was worried I shouldn't have. ( I am very happy with the sketch version though)
Photography is such a huge learning curve & I am learning through feedback, & trial & error. So thankyou - I genuinely appreciate your feedback. cheers, Lyn :))
