This is the view from Government House looking towards the Brindabella Ranges. The land is subject to flash flooding from the Murrumbidgee River and is only for recreational use, even though it is only 2 km from Parliament House.
I have used 3 bracketed exposures for an HDR (but in a natural style) to try & capture the beautiful vista. The recent rains have left the land quite green for this time of year.
@ltodd Looking at this shot you are more than on the way to conquering it. I play around with the settings each and every time, especially the colour saturation and the luminosity. I don't think I have ever accepted the settings as the program delivers. I'm working hard on eliminating that glow that appears on the horizon, but even with me it is a work in progress. That is the good thing with this site, it allows you to experiment and find your own way with your own style.
