Sometimes the deeper you look, the more amazing nature seems. Inside this (upside down) nautilus shell is a perfect spiral - described by mathematicians as following the 'golden-ratio' rule by following Fibonacci numbers. The shape of broccoli, flowers, our arms, and even the Mona Lisa can be described by this mathematical formula.

I used to knit scarves using fibonacci stripes. I love the way the sequence creates such pleasing patterns.
