My get-Pushed-9 challenge from Mel (@emjay8 ) was to photograph smoke. After an hour with my head covered in incense, trying to find something a little different, I started capturing various 'figures'.
Fuligo is the Latin word for 'soot' and fuliginous once described noxious bodily vapors. It can be used to describe things such as dense fogs, malevolent clouds, or overworked chimney sweeps (should you happen to come across one!).
@ltodd Wow, Lyn, I'm so thankful for this link, I think I'm going to try a smoke shot again. I knew another technique for processing the smoke, which is harder to do! Thanks again! :x
@sharritta@rachelmackenzie thankyou so much for the kind words, the follows and the notification ladies. Sharon, I was so amazed by your message first thing this morning, that at first I did not even understand it!!...... :-D
This is incredible. I see a figure, a tall slender woman in a figure hugging dress with a wrap around her shoulders and arms and short hair. Wow. I love this. Earned a follow and fav.
