Picked up our puss from the cattery and she followed us around for a whole day. I was sitting on the lawn with my camera and called to her. She ran towards me so fast I could only get one shot!
Three good things:
1.I didn't sit on a bee - notice all the clover in the lawn!
2. A lovely ride on Ruby - I could go for miles!
3. A new haircut that I don't think John likes - like most men, he likes long hair.
Lovely action shot of Pussikins. She looks in great shape. I used to have a little tabby cat called Dahlia and had to leave her in catteries from time to time - I eventually found one she liked where the cats had their own sleeping compartments but were allowed to roam and mingle freely apart from feeding times. Dahlia finally checked out at the age of 21. She was a healthy an active cat right to the end.
Cute! Great low POV. Congrats on not getting stung! Let John fix your long hair if he wants you to keep it that way! I agree with Jackie. Show us the selfie!
This is a great shot of your cat. You make me laugh. You did not sit on a bee, took a bike ride and got your haircut. My husband always likes my haircuts that have gotten shorter over the years. He is not hard to please at all..
Funny that men liking long hair .......very true! Have hardly done any commenting tonight , Cathy & Lydia arrived then watching this very complicated drama on TV called The Missing. If you go to put the let,e on you are lost its so complicated but fascinating. So happy for your little cat she must be so glad to see you home again. She must be fed up with that cattery this year!
I love the name "cattery!" Your cat I guess does not love the cattery. Glad you did not sit on a bee and I am sure your hubby will adjust to your haircut
She must have been pleased to be home again and making sure she does not loose sight of you --A lovely shot Maggiemae -- she has a beautiful and unusual colour
beautiful coloring on her furr, I like your term for a cat Puss, Its great also to see the way the different countries spell Colour color etc. My ex Cat Tigger was more like a dog than cat
@maggiemae Abyssinians are so very beautiful. I also like Burmese, of which Tristan is one. He is 18--had him to the vet this week and he is doing extremely well. He sends his best to Pussikins.
Wonderful shot of Pussikins on the green lawn.....looks determined to get to you!! Yes, my hubby cringes, too whenever I mention cutting my hair short....I tried it a couple of times when I needed a drastic change to perk me up in the dead of winter, and managed to tolerate it, but was always happy when I grew it back!
Pussikins is beautiful! My cat, Mrs Gimli, is like that if I leave the house even for a few hours (I work from home). She waits at the door for my return then doesn't stop giving me lip for at least an hour!
