Even the pine trees know when it's Easter. Pine trees start their new growth in the weeks before Easter – if you look at the tops of the Pine trees two weeks before, you’ll see the yellow shoots. As the days get close to Easter Sunday, the tallest shoot will branch off and form a cross. By the time Easter Sunday comes around, you will see that most of the pine trees will have small yellow crosses on all of the tallest shoots.
From the story of "The Pine Tree Crosses."
Again, outside working all day, followed by more pics. Working to catch up with you now, if it takes me all night! Happy Easter, everyone!
Nice shot and Story Mags, we also worked outside all day as well. Power-washed the decks to prep for staining tomorrow and Monday. Trying to beat the arrival of the yellow/green pine pollen that will soon cover our decks. Be well, Happy Easter.
God shows us many signs of His work through nature! Plants, trees, flowers, even animals. We need to see it with eyes wide open. My lens certainly has told me alot about God since I started this project. This is beautiful, Maggie .. lovely photo and message.

Gosh, Mags, you are unbelievable in the way you thank all those who viewed your wonderful photos! I hope your husband understands! Mine is getting a little predictable at my predictable photo desires!
@maggiemae Aww! Maggiemae, I just know it takes time to view and comment on pics with some thoughtfulness, so I can certainly take the time to thank those who take the time for my pics. LOL! I have been divorced quite a while now. No husband around to worry about. The men in my life have been pretty damn worthless, except a few good male friends. =)
