Just a little corner of my periodontist's waiting room. It's such a comfortable place, but things have changed. No more signing in - the staff signs you in. No more lovely magazines to look at - they don't want you to pick up someone else's germs off the pages. No more registering to win a free Sonicare - that could spread your germs too. But the staff and the doc are still as warm and lovely as ever. =)
Things have definitely changed - seats are either taped off or turned over to maintain a 6 feet distance while waiting. Your periodontist seems to have achieved a warm and welcome feel.
I don't think things will ever be back the way they were. Having said that, some have changed for the better. I never liked going to see the doctor and sitting in a small waiting room full of people coughing and sneezing!
@laroque Thank you, Tim! LOL! My periodontist is one of the best of men or doctors. He will pray for you when he's done while you're still in the chair. =)
@corinnec Thank you, Corinne! They do and so does the fireplace.
@dutchothotmailcom Thanks, Esther! It's different.
@joysabin He's a warm and welcoming doc. Thank you!
@ludwigsdiana Thank you, Diana!
@koalagardens No, not this place. =)
@gamelee I would agree, Lee - except this is a gum doctor. People aren't seen if they're sick here.
@wakelys It's a very comfortable place and you don't wait long. It is a shame that these changes were necessary, but at least they make some sense.
