I was looking around for tiny things in the kitchen and I saw the brown sugar I use for my coffee. Not impressive. I shot it anyway. This, is what my camera saw. Much nicer! I think it's even prettier if you view it large. 8D
Livia, if you hadn't posted comments to this, I would have guessed I was looking at precious stones! Very nice! Funny how what our eye sees can vary from what the camera captures... :-)
Reminds me of some crystal cave deep beneath the ground. Or one of those rocks that when cracked open have all the crystals in it. Love the color and complexity. Great capture.
@tonydebont Natural light! I don't know how to set up artificial lights. I always use natural light (in the afternoon) that is coming in through a (closed) glass window. 8)
A great, big, sparkly and earthy and really sweet "THANK YOU!" to everyone!
I am addicted to my macro lens. It opens up an amazing world of tiny hidden gems I wouldn't be able to see otherwise. Thank you for taking the time to visit! I am grateful for your time, and your kind and encouraging comments. You all inspire me to do better. Thank you so much!
LOL, i tried to take some pictures of white sugar last week, needless to say they never made it past the preview stage!! this is much more appealing :)

Would make a good texture in picmonkey too. (you can use your own pics as textures.)
