It's been a while since I last posted a photograph of Wish. 8)
FYI: Wish is a BJD. BJDs are ball-jointed dolls made of polyurethane resin, handcast and handstrung. They are anatomically correct, highly posable and customizable. My boys are 60cm tall. (About 2 feet.) Wish has been with me for 5 years now. You can google "BJD" for more information.
If you find dolls creepy to look at, I'd suggest un-following me as I will upload photographs of my boys from time to time.

One of my students made a stop action movie of her girl, dancing with a sari in her hands. It was beautiful fairyland mini fee seorin on a girls body. I loved it and your is gorgeous.

I have been missing "Wish and the boys!" Wish I looked that beautiful and flawless (notice my first word in this sentence!) Love the composition ... he looks like a wise soul here. I'm glad that he is back. :)
I love Wish! (I only know him because of your postings)...I do find dolls creepy, but not the dolls you have posted! beautiful photo. Is Wish the name you gave him, or is he a character from a series or something?
What a great photo, Livia. As others have said, he looks so real and I love the black background. Glad you explained how tall he is as I would have never guessed. I have nothing against dolls at all and hope to see more photos.
I Love Wish!!! The Eye's on this doll are amazing ..they remind me of a cartoon character that the Grandkids watch on T.V. but i cant remember thier names...Great Portrait!..I like the way you have it cropped!
never heard of BJD before. Wish is kind of cool. I was thinking he looked like "living" anime - I was trying to figure out how you made it three-dimensional. That would be because he *is* 3D. I'll go back further into your project to look for other shots now.

They seem like perfect models too (not like cats :P ) Love the details and I always thought they were the size of a Barbie doll, only now I read that they are 60 cm tall! Wow, that's quite tall for dolls! Are they more collectable dolls or just like any doll that kids can play with?
@hiiretips The price tag that some of these BJDs come with is a lot heftier than what one would expect, so these dolls are more like collectibles than dolls to play with. We do play with them (meeting other doll owners, posing them for photographs, dressing them in different outfits etc) but we do it carefully. 8)
