That's my card reader. I bought it purely because it's cute. And because there isn't one of a kitty. I'm more of a cat person. =3
Did you know that in Japan, when dogs bark, they don't go "Woof! Woof!" ? They go "Wan! Wan!" In China, it's a similar sound as they say "Wang! Wang!" (The pronounciation is closer to "One! One!" than "When! When!" If that makes any sense at all.)
See, I'd of bought it because it was cute, and a dog, too. I'm more of a dog person. We have USB memory sticks in the shape of doctors and nurses because hubby works for a clinical software company. :)
I even don`t know what a card reader is or where to use for but I like this one. Cool print
I never have been in Japan or China . Our dogs says `` woef woef ``
This is adorable! I don't have one, but if I did I would get a dog. I didn't realize dogs barked differently in other areas. Tellya what, I learn something every day here on 365 ;-)
Really cute device! Love the "dog!" No matter what language he barks in. lol (However, i'm a cat lover too!!) I don't even use a card reader, but this is charming and a great photo op.
Cute little device! I had no idea dogs sound different in different parts of the world, although it makes sense. Here in western Canada they mostly say "Row/Roe/Roo" or "Rowf" or "Rowrowrowrowrow!!" :D
@pyrrhula@amandalomonaco A card reader reads data from any card-shaped storage medium, such as the card in the digital camera which is used to store the photographs we take. You just slot the card into the card reader, plug the reader into a USB port on your computer and then you can download any files from the card. It's very convenient. That's how I download my photos after using my cameras. 8)
You're going nuts with languages, Livia. Better see a psychiatrist (my son could help, here) hahaha. These gadgets are so confusing to me. Lovely capture.
Cultural differences in animal sounds can be quite funny...in polish, a dog says 'how how' and the funniest of all is the polish equivalent of a duck's quack.... they say 'kwa kwa'...the w has a soft v sound, phonetically 'kfa'...say that one quickly a few times and what does it sound like?! lo! My mother was unimpressed when I pointed that one out! Very cute card reader by the way!
A great, big, animal-loving, furry and fuzzy, fun and cute "THANK YOU!" to all!
It's wonderful to learn how people describe the bark of their dogs in different countries and different languages! Thank you so much for sharing knowledge, for stopping by, for dropping a line or two. I am grateful for your time and your generosity. Again, thank you!
In Sapanish the dogs go "Guau, Guau"! Funny!
I never have been in Japan or China . Our dogs says `` woef woef ``
