Who knew ladybirds could be so fast? I was lucky to get this shot. It was in an awful hurry, just running along the vine like it had an urgent date to keep, driving me a little frantic because I can't keep up with fast crawling bugs. 8P
I just noticed that it has zig-zag stripes rather than spots. XD
Great capture. Especially with it moving. Its clear, crisp, great color and dof. Like the stripes. I wonder if different patterns indicates a different variety of lady bug. I'm horrible with photos of moving things. Just got back from being knee deep in mud, lily pads, water and some sorta weedy flower that stuck its little flowers to my clothes trying to get a photo of a snowy egret flying. All blur and outta focus.
Great capture. I love the size of the bud beside it....she's running to rescue the kids from the burning house!

Livia this is incredible! I can't believe you got such a focused shot when it was traveling so quickly! I love the pink and red color combination! This will end up on the PP! Fav!
Omg! Love this! The pink tones are lovely. They do move fast! I am usually focusing manually so they kill me! Did you manually focus on this one? Auto focus is hard too...it keeps focusing on the wrong thing...anyway...fav!
Lovely capture of the speedy little ladybird! I think you captured her at the perfect spot next to the pink bud. Maybe the zigzags are go-faster stripes?
really beautiful plant and ladybug, they are very busy bugs, i have found this before too, and im sure there is a poem or a song about 'why' but i cant remember it at the moment :)
A great, big, red and spotted and fast "THANK YOU!" to everyone who has taken the time to stop by! I'm grateful for your constant support. Thank you so much!
