@grammyn and Hope- it looks like a Ghost Midge. I call them Vegas Showgirls with that headdress. Lol. @robv is this a midge?

@espyetta That is a Chironomid Midge, it's a male but I can't tell what genus from the photo alone. Ghost Midges, Chaoborus, are named for their transparent larvae which are predators of other aquatic insects including mosquito larvae. This guy has markings on his legs that make me think he's in a different genus.
