There are two ways of getting by car from Cornwall into Devon from the South coast of Cornwall. One is the Tamar Bridge (I have done other pictures of the bridge) the other is by ferry at Torpoint. Here is a little collage to show you the ferry journy.
1. Waiting for the ferry. There can be anything up to three running - you can just see the blue/white ferries behind the operations tower. There are six lanes for queueing traffic waiting to cross.
2. On board you can watch the river as you cross. Sometimes you see some interesting sights.
3. A picture of the ferrys bridge taken from my car. You can get out and walk around. the journy takes about ten minutes so I usually stay in the car.
4. Driving off the ferry in Plymouth. You arrive in the centre of the Plyouth dockyard and it is only a few minutes drive from there into the main city centre of Plymouth
