Thames Festival Boats

No Thames Festival could go ahead without its boats. They paraded up and down the river all day. Here is a public pleasure boat with a scotch bagpipe band playing.
I love some of the buildings along the Thames. A great backdrop these two make - the old and the new looking good together.

It is good to see old and new side by side and the shot seems to emphasise continuity and tradition, with the pipe band. All flowing with Old Father Thames!
