This was taken to go on my new website. It's taken through a crystal ball. As it's a lens the writing is seen upside down. Remember that lenses project upside down.
I am not sure if the meaning will be lost on my visitors. This photo was taken against a monitor with a red screen and the writing is the right way up in the middle of the screen.
What do you think?
This website has been nearly eight months in the making. There are more than 180 articles and posts. The site is nearly ready for go-live. I will keep you posted.

what if you put the monitor upside down? wouldn't the reflection read correctly then? must try this sometime. :-) lovely red hue, damon. looking forward to seeing your website.
As a matter of fact, our eyes see things upside-down too, and rely on the brain to interpret the scene right-way-up, so if your inverted image confuses anybody, perhaps it should, but to anyone speaking in double negatives it probably won't make no difference. Nice idea though, well executed!
Cool shot. I've never quite been able to wrap my head around the reason why lenses don't reflect around the vertical axis as well as the horizontal. Looking forward to your website.
Wow ... I am with you all the way, Net! I LOVE learning about photography. I'm your student ... and can't wait for more info on your web. I agree with Arthur ...@wordpixman "well executed!"
Looking forward to your website. I like the red colour!! It's good that you are challenging people's vision - think it will be a perfect for your website.
@damianpowell - Actually they do reverse in both planes. Take a copy of my image and open it in your favourite image editor. Now do a vertical flip. You will see the writing is still back to front. Now do a horizontal flip and you will see that after the two translations the writing is normal.
Whether they understand it or not, I reckon it's a good attention grabber. Those who get it will probably enjoy it and the ones who don't understand will want to know why the writing's upside down. Cool idea.
Hee hee!
