That door looks at odds with the wall, I think that makes you give it a second look and draws you to it. Also as in your article doors do always fascinate for all reasons. This immediately conjours up visions of what is behind that door.
The depth of insight in your article is staggering - I love both doors and gates as subject - and so many things come to mind when I look at this shot - what surprises me most is that I wonder what "else" is going on behind this door! I love that it provokes questions more than it answers them.
