In this installment we have a strange and glowing golden object... and it is?

Well, its looks like I have got this one sorted out then. Unfortunately no one got it! Wah!

Well, this object was a walking stick or pole 'basket'. At the moment it is upside down. If you turn it the other way up and push it onto a modern walking stick it prevents the stick from sinking into the mud or snow. The same on a walking pole. Yes, a walking stick basket... Easy.

Honorable mentions...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mike Warren - Tripod foot??? Net says:-->> Nice try, a "Doohicky Award!" Yahoza!
Brad Johnson - Ashtray? Net says:-->> No smoking here! Tee hee...LOL
mag - some form of tightening clamp Net says:-->> Its all about clamps init?
Dave Anajao - a dial? Net says:-->> Cool idea, but no, a "Doohicky Award!" Yahoooaha!
Rick Schies - A base for something. Net says:-->> Hooo oooH! Very near I think! Nice try. A Doohicky award! Yeee ha!
Diana Horn - Looks like the base of a desk chair with a cut-out for the handle that you pump to adjust it. Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Kathy A - Umbrella stand Net says:-->> I did not see that one coming! Well, ooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Sue Wilde - This knob (which is upside down) Is actually off my washing machine (or maybe my dishwasher)...the rounded hole bit is so that, when I turn it, I can see the number it's up to. Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Bonnie Lusted - This looks like part of my dishwasher... Net says:-->> It could be, does your dishwasher look anything like a walking stick perchance? LOL Nice try.
Thanks for coming by and joining in the fun. I enjoyed this one. See ya!
A door or drawer pull
You must look at the BIG picture to understand this image. It is primarily used to reflect alien transmissions back to their source. I have no idea why it is hanging on a door. If the aliens call and receive no answer they will probably give up. And besides, who needs aliens? Do we not have enough problems on this planet already. A strange and glowing golden object it is.
Yes, I reckon it's a drawing pin. A quick check on one I found loose in the stationery drawer - OUCH!! - seems to confirm it.
