The Bushkill

This creek runs through our community and is well-known as a great place for fishing. Of course after all the rain and melting snow, it has swollen to the size of a raging river. Notice the water line on the far bank. By Sunday, when it's supposed to crest, it will be over the retaining wall. Sadly, my little camera cannot capture the sound or how rapidly the water is flowing, but it sure is powerful, take my word for it!

Even without the sound it looks pretty powerful. Will that poor little cabin get flooded?

It has in the past Lisa, but I'm not sure if it will this time. I'll be watching though, and saying a prayer or two for the inhabitants.

Thanks Roe Jan- yes, I'll be shooting it again. It's such a pretty creek, and it winds its way all around the area, so I have many spots to choose from.
