This carving graces the front of our baptismal font. We've spent most of the day at church today. Since our biological family is scattered about we don't get to see them that often. Our church has become a second family to us and we love spending time with them just as much as the others. The cross not only symbolizes what Christ did for me, but the unity we have in our faith. We come from many different biological families but in Christ we become part of the family of faith.
