I have felt the wind blow, whispering Your Name.
I have seen Your tears fall, when I watch the rain.
How could I say, "There is no God,"
When all around creation calls?
A singing bird, a mighty tree,
The vast expanse of open sea.
Gazing at a bird in flight, soaring through the air.
Lying down beneath the stars, I feel Your presence there.
I love to stand at ocean's shore and feel the mighty breakers
roar.
To walk through golden fields of grain,
'Neath endless blue horizon's frame.
Listening to a river run, watering the earth.
Fragrance of a rose in bloom, a newborn's cry at birth.
How could I say, "There is no God,"
When all around creation calls?
A singing bird, a mighty tree,
The vast expanse of open sea.
I love to stand at ocean's shore,
And feel the thundering breakers roar.
To walk through golden fields of grain,
'Neath endless blue horizon's frame.
I believe, I believe, I believe, like a child.
Brian Doerksen
Inspired by the lightness of the air and the warmth of the sun, I jumped in the car and drove down to a favorite fishing hole today to snap a few shots for 365. While driving back home, Brian Doerksen's song came to mind, so I thought I'd post it along with the picture.
Thank you Allison- If you go out to YouTube, it's listed under Creation Calls. There are several versions, but my favorite is the one from The Branch Church- the song is set to clips from the Planet Earth series. It's absolutely stunning!
Thanks Remco, Abigail, Rick, Roe Jan, Ruth, Marti, and Bill. Your comments mean so much to me! I needed your uplifting thoughts today. Yes Rick this is near Bushkill Falls- this fishing area is fed by them.
