Whenever I go food shopping I always admire the flower display. The colors seem brighter, cheerier, full of joie de vive! I love the way they pop out of the packages.
Oh my gosh! This picture is so cool because of not only the flowers, but the polka dots on the cellophane on them. Then I realized you were in the store and I am glad to know I am not the only one who takes photos in the floral shop of the grocery store! This picture is so bright and cheery! I've always zoomed in on the flowers themselves as I am fascinated by the macro world (even with my P and S camera) and I love how you saw the pretty shapes and colors in the panned out shot. I was always hoping to ignore that the flowers were in the store and not in some gorgeous outdoor locale, but you embraced it and it worked!
@espyetta Thank you so much MaryBeth- yes, I walk past them all the time and think, "I should photograph those flowers!" This time they were just too pretty to pass by. All I have is a P&S and I'm slowly learning how to get the best out it. This was one of those perfect shots!
@olivetreeann A fellow P and S user! Yay! I think when I get my nicer camera, which is coming soon, I will miss my P and S and of course, they are awesome for moments like shooting flowers in the grocery store. :0)
@daveanajao Thanks Dave- the display in this supermarket is always popping with color. I finally pulled out my camera and captured it. Glad you like the results. I too love how it explodes.
