It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas- oh wait, it's still Fall! We are starting to see some color here, but because of all the rain, I'm afraid brown is going to be the predominant color this year. We'll see what pops out over the next week or so.

@digitalrn I think it's going to come quickly this year, rather than the usual slow and steady. I hope we get color. So many trees are just going straight to brown from all the rain. Thanks for stopping by Rick!
@bkbinthecity I'm not sure what this fall is going to end up like because we've had so much rain. I'm hoping we'll have some beautiful colors because I have a few spots where I want to catch the colors. This tree has some lower branches so it worked out really well for that. @karenann Thanks Karenann- I know, you're further north than we are so it must be a short season. Thanks to all. So far most of the trees in my backyard are still green. One or two have leaves going straight to brown. But as you all well know, when you walk around and really look at things carefully, you can discover some very beautiful things- like a few red leaves peeking out from the green. Thanks all for you kind words!
@cimes1 Thanks Carole! The days here have been in the 70's so it's still nice- but sweater days are not too far off. It went down into the 40's last night!
@allie912 Thanks Allison. I've only seen one or two leaves so far in this beautiful red. I'm not sure how all this rain is going to effect the colors over all. Today on the way home from church was the first time I saw some nice colors coming out. So, we'll see...
