@sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry! @kimmistephens Thank you Kimmi! @pulguis Thank you Pulguis! (Please don't show her then!! I never saw the movie because I knew it would scare me too much!)
Thank you all for your kind comments! I have another object to put in my "I Only Bought It for 365" pile.
@alia_801 Thanks Alia! I really wanted to go to an aquarium and photograph one, but knew that wasn't going to happen all too soon. Then I wanted to go to the craft store because I remembered they had these plastic toys of all kinds of animals, but I happened to be in Walmart and thought maybe the aquarium section might have a shark for the fish tank, saving me some time and giving me one less errand to run. The last resort was going to be making a cut-out shape of one and sticking it on some scrapbooking paper! Of course if you don't want to go the "natural" route with this word, you could always photograph a card shark. @inertie Thank you Inertia! @dmariewms Thank you Marie- he's sitting on a blue towel in a clear blue plastic bowl. I blurred the background areas where just a little bit of my living room wall was showing through. @cortens Thank you Julie! My first attempt at photographing him didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, so this was the second attempt. The towel did the trick. I was using a paper background before and it was too flat. The towel gave it just enough dof to make it more interesting.
@cimes1 lol Carole! You got that right! Thanks! @bruni Thank you Bruni- it was a challenge/theme/discussion that someone started at the beginning of January. It's probably still listed there, but not on the home page. There were 31 objects/subjects to photograph and you had the option of doing them in whatever order you wanted to. If you type in the tag jan12_treasures, you should see a whole bunch of them. @adobewaters Thanks Adobe! Fun and silly (o: @steeler Thanks Howard- I'm sure you could have taken a better shot of the real thing on one of your dives. @summerfield lol Vikki! @mrssmith Thank you Carla!
