Thanks Carole! My main reason for going to the barn that day was to use my old 35mm SLR for the film challenge. I'll be picking up the shots today and I can't wait to see how they turned out! It'll either be a huge success or complete failure- we'll see. Either way though, I still have the digital shots I took as well.
Always love these simple, but beautiful, macros. Great textures and color. I think you do fabulous work in both film and digital. Personally, I think that film produces some of the most gorgeous photos ever. But that's just me.
@pandorasecho Thank you Dixie- I really enjoyed my photo shoot at the barn. Can't wait for a beautiful spring day to return and take some more! @woot Thanks Davide! It's not part of the alphabet series, but it could have been. However I did take a letter on my photo shoot here and it will be coming up in a few days. @karenann Thanks Karenann! You have great faith since I haven't posted any of my film work yet! I was going to pick up the pictures I shot in film today but it was snowing!! I could have gone, but I just felt like staying by the fire and watching the snow fall. It wasn't a big storm, but it was nice. Plus I did get some more shots of the birds at my feeder with my 35mm, so I can't wait to see how they came out. I always loved working with film, but I realize I've enjoyed some things from digital too- like never running out of the ability to shoot another picture, and not have to cock the shutter after every picture! @tklein thank you so much Tina!!!!
nice textures and gorgeous lighting. i'm also doing some film shots but i haven't finished my roll. i should go around on the weekend and finished it. i got moon shots last week using my telephoto lens and i just hope it came out good. i actually used that camera last october during the fall but my shots came out so-so although there were about 2 that i thought turned out quite well. can't wait to see yours.
@mrssmith Thank you so much Carla- we'd have a blast!! Between the 2 of us, there'd be thousands of pictures!! @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @digitalrn Thank you Rick! @allie912 Thank you Allison. I go on overload at these places sometimes. The large shots are great to take since the barns are so impressive. But the detail shots are just as much of the fascination. This one struck me because of the way the paint weathered and the wood split. @sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry! @summerfield Thanks Vikki- I'll be picking them up today now that the snow flurries are done. I hope I haven't lost my touch with 35mm! @twinsplusone Thanks Sharon! @cbawernsen Thank you Corine! I appreciate the view! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! @steeler Thank you Howard! @adobewaters Thank you sooo much Adobe!!

@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
Thank you everyone- you are all so uplifting! I liked this shot, but wasn't thinking it was that great- but I enjoyed reading all your reactions.
