@httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! I was just going to post the before and after of my breakfast and then thought it might be fun to put it parallel with the birds. @sharritta Thanks Sharon! This was a fun one.
@pandorasecho Thank you Dixie! I was only going to post my own breakfast at first, but then I thought it would be fun to add the birds on. @filsie65 Thanks Phil! I'm glad you like it! @paulavdmerwe Thank you Paula! I really appreciate your comment! @eudora Thanks Diane! Glad you enjoyed it!
i was looking at this at the office this afternoon and i saved my banana so i can photograph it for the before and after. but hunger fangs overtook me and i forgot that i needed the banana for something else. hehehe. why am i getting hungry again? i'm looking at food too much! great collage, ann. but the birds didn't use up all the seeds, did they?
@summerfield Thanks Vikki- you are too smart for me. Look how many people before you just assumed that all those seeds had been consumed this morning! Time for true confessions. The empty feeder is actually the first shot. It takes them about 3-4 days to get through all the suet. It just happened to be time to fill it again this morning. But, as you can see, once I do, it doesn't take long before someone comes to feed. The Red-bellied Woodpecker is actually the third shot. So the truth is out!
Love this collage!! Let's see, I'll take the breakfast in the middle. Looks alot like the one that I have every morning. I love breakfast!! A wonderful glimpse into your life, Ann.
Oops! Just looked again . . I think that these were progressive photos, right?! I thought that the one on the lower left was your husbands breakfast. Just yours, right?!! BTW then, where is hubbys?
@karenann Hubby is up and out before I wake up! Depending on where he is working, he usually leaves here just about the time I'm waking up. I have never been an early riser, poor fellow, so he usually makes his own. But he knew that before he married me. We were talking one day and he told me what he would expect me to make for his breakfast and I looked at him and said, "You can't pour your own bowl of cereal?" lol Once my boys were able to make their own, I was quite happy! Holidays are when I get up and do something special for everyone- and then it really is special! @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @jeancarl Thanks Carl! Those puzzles are fun. @alia_801 Thanks Alia! @peterdegraaff Thanks Peter! @sangwann Thanks Dione- I have a few friends that aren't. It totally baffles me! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- I enjoyed it but my stomach growled at me while I took the photos! @twinsplusone Thanks Sharon! It's good to start the day with a smile!
@olivetreeann lol! after I saw this photo I went to Aldi's and brought some breakfast foods ..cinnamon raison bagels, and waffles and milk for cereal! Yum!
@potsbypam good for you!! @sanera thanks Samantha- it's granola that's made with brown rice syrup not corn syrup (which I can't have). I add the raisins and banana. I also make the suet- it's cheaper than buying it.
@prttblues thanks Bev- in this case it's their fats and grains! (I make my own suet comprised of veg. shortening, peanut butter, wild bird seed and whole wheat flour) @melorac thanks Carole! We love breakfast so much in this house that sometimes we eat it for dinner too!
