@kandernob Thanks Karen! I took this shot ahead of time when I was at the beach the other day. It's my friend's beach umbrella and it did a great job of keeping us out of the sun. @shuterfly Thanks Sondra- oh I know you folks get some cold weather up there! We're not too far behind you in the Poconos sometimes. @salza Thanks Sally! @jesperani Thanks Jennifer! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri!
Thank you everyone! I'm trying to shorten my time on 365 to please photograph widower (you know like the football widows of the fall only for 365) so I must do this blanket thanks! But please believe me each and every comment means so much to me!
Great , Great Shot Ann! Love the Colors!! The major reason i will miss P.A. is because the weather is so cool here compared to TX!! So i cant say i will miss the heat here!!
I love the bright colours of summer and I will miss the heat when it's over. The heat makes the sea even more beautiful and summer is no summer without a dive into the refreshing Mediterranean
Thank you all! I would have liked to include a shot of all the other "brollies" too! It's so colorful at the beach- but color is why the next season is probably my favorite! That and the cooler temps!
Dione the Med. is lovely- I've had the pleasure of dipping my toes in it a couple times (but I wasn't there in the warmer months for a full out swim like you do each day!)
I love the bold colors of summer, too - but I won't miss the heat and humidity we've had this past month! I agree with you - my favorite season will be coming up soon - spectacular colors and cool crisp days!
Fabulous fun color wheel type shot. Our summer goes on for a couple more months yet. Not many changes until late October-early November. This is a terrific theme idea!
Love your POV and the colors are just smashing..yes some of the colors will certainly disappear but then we'll get the glorious fall colors. it has started already.I
posted a collage of what I found on our walk this morning. I also love the fall when the days are nice and sunny and the mornings and nights are so refreshingly cool..another reason for getting up early and outdoors.
Thanks to all- I was so exhausted when I got home yesterday, I pretty much cooked dinner and went to bed!! I so appreciate the comments and encouragement- 365 is my lifeline to this these days- so I can't tell you how much they mean to me!
@alia_801 Thanks Alia. I have been so overwhelmed with comments and feedback here, I've started to view just the shots of those who've commented on my pictures. It has freed me up a bit so perhaps I missed your icon- whatever I'm glad I thought to just go and look! The elephants are a fun series and the flowers are looking great.

@salza Thanks Sally!
@jesperani Thanks Jennifer!
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri!
I don't like the heat and humidity of the summer as well.
I will miss the colors also - but never the heat of this year.
