When I walked out of the door this morning I was all set to take my "same scene" shot for the day. But the weather today was no different than the last two Mondays- bright blue sky and sunshine all around. So, I decided to wait until the evening for a little contrast to the first two "same scene" shots. We had a lovely sunset tonight- what little we can see that is with all the trees blocking the way. Since I took this at dusk I did find it necessary to raise the saturation and hue levels so that you could see what I actually saw.
we had the same colour of sunset. but oh boy, it goes so fast. when i came out of the apartment building the sun was still up with a golden glow so i went back and asked partner to drive me so i could save some time. when i got to the marina the sun was reddish and set so fast i didn't get the colour i wanted for my shot. we've got to treasure all these beautiful sunsets, when the cold sets in we would be barely in the mood to appreciate it. i like the shadows here, ann. very nice.

Beautiful. I was thinking today that I should have used a scene that would include the sky because it always changes in some way. I love your Monday thumbnails.
Stunning colours. I also waited all day for my shot hoping the clouds might lift off the mountains but no such luck. Did manage to get some sun peeking through!
