Another variation on Lucy's toy. This time I decided to see what would happen if I purposely played with the exposure. I pushed it as high as it would go and then added the Orton effect to give the colors a little more saturation. In an effort to counter balance the overly orange coloring of the processed picture I added a vignette of dark blue (color wheel fundamentals!). I wanted to also give the shot a little more texture so I added the film grain effect to do so. I put a dark blue border frame around the edge to give the the picture a solid edge and here's the final result. Tomorrow...something completely different will probably appear. But for now, you may want to grab your sunglasses while viewing this version!
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @mrssmith Thanks Carla- glad it had that effect for you! @pandorasecho Thanks Dixie! Yes!! That's the perfect description for these colors!
@chrismarfil Thank you Chris! @sangwann Thank you Dione- you can say that again! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! Bright is an understatement! hehe @cimes1 Thanks Carole! This personal challenge is all about experimentation for me- which I love to do with the processing effects! @la_photographic Thanks Laura! Not such a great photo because the original is slightly blurred, but you can see how the effects will lessen that here. @automaticslim lol Andy- you know me too well! Thanks!
Excellent processing to get yet a different photo from that original object. You are very creative and definitely know what you're doing! Well done! :)
@bruni Thank you Bruni! I was looking for something a little different than what I ended up with, but I liked it. @prttblues Thank you Bev! It may appear as if I know what I'm doing, but so much of it really is experimentation.
