Salt and Pepper Take One

I thought this shot could turn into a nice flower, and I was right!
It actually looks like a crest - the LeFevre Crest?

Funny because I see animal faces in each "petal"

I like how your thumbnails look so colourful, really cheerful! I've just discovered BeFunky too, I love it!

Looks beautiful and like a family crest.

A very good idea, and nice results

i agree with @maggiemae and @sangwann this looks like a family crest! great idea. i'll do a roll of tissue paper and make it look like our family crest and i'll send it to the relatives i don't like. :-)

How cool is that? It does look like a family crest as mentioned by Dione.

@maggiemae Thank you Maggie! If the LeFevres were chefs I suppose it could be, but they are stone masons and we do have a copy of the crest. It doesn't look anything like this! (o:
@pandorasecho lol Dixie- very creative (which I would expect from you!) and I can see them too- a badger perhaps?
@jackie8 Thank you Jackie! I have tons of fun on BeFunky. I took one shot here, processed it in BeFunky first and then saved the "four sides" to upload to Ribbet where I put them together as a collage with no separating lines.
@sangwann Thank you Dione! An interesting take on it- I thought of a flower all along.
@digitalrn Thank you Rick!
@summerfield Thank you Vikki! I suppose it could be seen that way- although the LeFevre colors are blue and gold, so this is up for grabs as to whose family gets it (o:
@cimes1 Thanks Carole! I'm not sure whose family it would belong to though (o:

Very nice processing, looks like an abstract flower!

@olivetreeann A badger would suit me fine, I always thought the sorting hat would put me in Hufflepuff.
January 8th, 2013
viewed small, it looked to me like the flag of a foreign country! what a great shot!
January 8th, 2013
Very cool processing. Initially, I thought this was a crest (as has been mentioned by others).

I would never have recognized them ...this is so different! Wow..it's beautiful. That red really pops!!

Beautiful colors and design. I wasn't sure what it was, but a family crest comes to mind.

This looks very abstract, colors are beautiful. Loving all your different edits on the same subject =)

@tanja_1211 Thanks Tanja- it's a fun challenge I've given myself for the duration of the month. A new subject every week and dozens of ways to process them!

Bev
The thumbnail looks like a crest. The blow up looks like a flower. Cool processing! Well done! :)
January 10th, 2013
@prttblues Thanks Bev! Really had to think this one out, but once I knew what I needed, it wasn't too hard to put together.
January 10th, 2013
Reminds me of a kaleidoscope
January 10th, 2013
@nadaa Thanks Nada- yes it does have that look.
January 11th, 2013
Great processing.

@la_photographic Thank you Laura!

This looks like one of those butterfly paitings you make when you are a child. You know that ones where you fold the paper in half, open it and place the paint on the fold marks, close the paper and press together and then you have a butterfly. Beautiful.
January 11th, 2013
@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- yes it does look like those! That was a fun memory you brought back!
January 12th, 2013
