Double dipping in diptychs today and this one a triple dip in the theme category!
This diptych consists of two close-ups of a stained glass window in our church which contains a beautiful scarlet flower. The closer of the two appears a bit brighter due to the way the sun was coming through the window. They are actually the same color.
@httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! @sgiesman Thanks Sarah! @pflaume Thanks Lisa! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! I wouldn't have thought of it unless the April word was stained glass. Technically I don't think it will really qualify for the weekly theme as I did not take the pictures this week, but it was fun to post it that way anyhow. And secondly the same thing happened with the color. It just happened to be a close-up of a flower that matched the word of the day. My favorite part of the whole shot was played around the the commentary- double diptych and triple dip sounded really clever to me!! hehe
Thank you Vesna!
Thank you Dione!
Thank you Smitha- and thank you so much for the fav!!
Thank you Laraine! Isn't it interesting how the light changes the color?
Thank you Ariel!
Thank you Henri!
Thank you so much everyone! I am once again behind because Jeff took over the computer for few days- silly man does not understand how much we communicate with one another via comments!! I will slowly catch up.
