Yellow Flag

I wasn't sure what flower I was going to post today because I worked so late at Judy's. But just as I turned a corner near to the entrance of our community, I saw these beauties growing by the roadside. Naturally I had to stop the car and take a few shots! This lovely yellow blossom is the perfect foil for yesterday's Blue Flag!

Nice shot, Ann... Is it a yellow iris? It looks like it. Great detail and you caught the color perfectly... it's so hard to do yellow or red I've noticed. Job well done!

My thanks to one and all and apologies for not saying "Thank you" sooner. I've had an extremely busy run lately- a good thing but it did bite into the 365 time. So thanks again and for those who were wondering, both the Blue Flag from yesterday and this plant are irises- or in the iris family.
