Conversations with Job by olivetreeann

Conversations with Job

Finally posting something for World Environment Day. I had been playing with my glass globe yesterday and ended up with this unusual capture. After playing with the color and shapes a bit, a story unfolded in my mind and the whole picture reminded me of Job's conversation with God. After speaking his mind to God, God had a few questions for Job:

Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me if you have understanding.
Or who enclosed the sea with doors, when bursting forth it went out from the womb;
When I made a cloud its garment,
And a thick darkness its swaddling band.
And I placed boundaries on it set a bolt and doors,
And I said 'Thus far you shall come, but no farther
And here shall your proud waves stop'?

Then Job answered the Lord and said,
'Behold I am insignificant; what can I reply to Thee?
I lay my hand on my mouth.'

Job 38: 4, 8-11; 40:3-4.

Great abstract shot, Ann! :) I'm not religious, but I do like the shapes and the colors that came out from you playing with your glass globe! It worked out very nicely! Job well done! :)
