While I am waiting for my Freeman book to arrive, I've either followed the synopsis of the book, used a tip from another photography book I picked up at the library or made an exercise of my own up. Tonight while Jeff and I had dinner I was looking out on the deck and taking note of the different flowers. Since it's been cloudy all day the light is very subdued. It's also been raining off and on since the late afternoon. So, just after dinner before the dishes were done, I popped out on the deck and took a few shots of the flowers. I particularly liked the raindrop and missing petal on this one.
