Funny we use those and a tarp on the firewood here but it doesn't catch my attention anymore so I doubt I'd have thought of the brick at all even though I moved them today to get a wheelbarrow full
A huge thank you to all! There are two things happening to me these days- 1) Patterson's book really has gotten me in to the practice of taking time to LOOK before I start snapping away. That's how I managed to notice this inconspicuous brick and its companion leaf. 2) I'm really starting to play with contrast since I visited the photo club last month. Watching the experts tweak several what I thought were good shots to make them look great, I've been more prone to see what I can do with a shot when I think it's a strong one. So thank you for the feedback. It means I really am learning something!
