Before we stuck him in the flower pot on the deck, I had tried putting our Luna Moth in a bucket of leaves- hoping he'd make a cocoon in them. But, he had other ideas! Here he is climbing up the side of our house. Needless to say, we redirected him from that course!
I didn't really have time to take a shot today or to go through the trouble of processing something out of the archives. But this guy was so spectacular, I just had to post another shot of him.
What a great shot, Ann! He's so bright!! And unique looking! The detail is excellent. You should go online and see if you can grow a Luna Moth on your own. I bet they have instructions on what to do so that you can see him cocoon! Well done :)
