Glass Bowl in Black and White

I was seeking out a subject for the One Night Stand subject of black and white today, and the glass bowl I brought home from Dad's really proved to be the right subject. I love the way the light is coming through the glass and accentuating the design formed in the heavy glass bowl. Putting the shot into the computer also exposed the tiny bubbles in the glass- something your eye doesn't really see when the bowl is sitting on the table.

very good use of the lighting. i love seeing the imperfections in glass. i don't know why they call it imperfection when it makes the item unique and, imo, more attractive. you got a winner here!
