Love the sparkle!

I've been thinking lately about our idea to combine a book club and Flash of Red February this year. Michael Freeman has several books on black and white that I think might really lend themselves week to Book Club. I hope to have some time over the holidays to compare them. What do you think?

@alia_801 Thank you so much for the fav Alia!

@archaeofrog Great minds think alike Katie! I was just thinking about the Feb. challenge today! Taffy had suggested a book too- but I've lost the note where I wrote down the title so I have to ask her again. I'm open to either. I was going to pop down to the library too. Of course I really like Patterson's book as well. So there's some research to be done when Taffy gets home from her vacation.

@sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry!

@olivetreeann If it was one Taffy had mentioned awhile ago, it was "Creative Black and White" by Harold Davis. I bought that one a few months ago, but the majority of the book is specifics of post-processing, which I don't think would give us as much for discussion and would shut people out of participating.

glorious vibrant colour

Love the beautiful design on these colorful ornaments.

@archaeofrog That sounds right- and I'd agree with your assessment. Still have to see if there's anything interesting at the library, but I do like Patterson, so I'm really open to anything. I didn't know if we wanted a different author just for the sake of variety. Just random thoughts there.
@northy Thank you Northy!
@bruni Thank you Bruni!

December 29th, 2013
@taffy Thank you Taffy! I'd bought them last year to decorate the pile of wood that eventually became my new floor. No pile this year so I put them in the big bowl. And I'm really liking the way they look.
