We had Christmas dinner at my friend Debbie's house yesterday. While there was a lull in the activity I amused myself taking pictures of her ornaments. This one caught my eye but when I took the shot, I did not realize it was a donkey! I thought it was something else. What do you think I saw?
i dunno... the ears look kinda like arms or wings... an angel maybe? except the furry tuft between the ears (wings) looks more like the muppet Animal (the rocker guy) than an angel's head ;p
Thanks to all! I really had to laugh at myself because when I took the shot of this ornament on the tree, I thought I was taking a picture of an angel! I thought the ears were wings, the two dots were hands sort of in a primitive style and that "she" had a fuzzy tuft of hair on her head. It wasn't until I pulled the camera back from my close range macro that I realized there was a wreath behind "her" and that there were legs sticking below the wreath. Now I know I REALLY need to update the strength of my glasses!!
@taffy LOL Taffy!! I'm glad you saw a carrot! That makes me feel better about thinking it was an angel and not even noticing half of the ornament when I was taking the picture!

@taffy Thanks Taffy! Not to worry! I've had a few mix-ups this week too (not on here, but at home!) so I certainly understand. The holiday has been quiet up till now. 3 of my grandchildren, my son, and his wife arrive on Monday and it's going to be busy and fun for a few days while they're here. I'm looking forward to it! Your Hawaii shots were gorgeous and I'm not sure how I missed them except I did have a couple days last week where I fell a little behind. Glad to see you made it home safe and sound and hope the cold weather wasn't too much of a shock to your system!
