Noir Nuit by olivetreeann

Noir Nuit

I have volunteered to serve as the secretary for the camera club I've joined. Tonight was my first time "on duty". I'll basically be keeping notes during the executive committee meetings and passing them along to the woman who does the write-ups on the website. We met at a local restaurant and when I went to leave I noticed this scene. It reminded me of those classic black and white movies known for their dark, foreboding storylines. It was definitely a bit shaky due to my car warming up, but I sort of liked the look of it. Thankfully no one stepped out of the shadows!

I have gotten quite behind on my posting! So tonight you will notice a massive upload! Please do not feel obligated to comment on each and every picture!
Good for you, now you are kind of committed

@digitalrn Talk about jumping right into the deep end! I'm looking forward to getting to know more of the members and learning there. As on 365 there are some incredible photographers who are willing to share everything they know.

This photo does look a bit dark and scary. You could imagine somebody hiding in the shadows, waiting to jump out.

Congratulations on serving as the secretary! They're so lucky to have you. This shot conveys such interesting atmosphere and mood, and invites us to, "peer into the shadows."

@gratefulness Thanks Sandi! Well, I have to laugh at the secretary who showed up for the photo meeting tonight when it's actually next week!!

@olivetreeann Well, as long as they have it right in the meeting minutes. :o I used to record minutes of meetings for a networking group of local nonprofits, and one time I made a mistake and sent everyone to the wrong meeting location. It was a totally different building across town! :o No worries, you'll do a great job.
