A Wreath on the Gate by olivetreeann

A Wreath on the Gate

Saw this pretty scene on the gate of an old house in Milford. Thought I'd give it a little extra vintage appeal.
I like your processing Ann, this has a lovely feel to it

Thank you all for your views and comments and please except my apology for the mass thank you! But as you know, I'd rather catch up on your photos!

@maggiemae Thanks Maggie- I took the shot in color, sharpened, tweaked the saturation and temperature of the color and then converted to sepia, fading the color back in about 50% or so. After that I applied one of Ribbet's "True Vintage" effects and once again, faded the color back in about 50%. Then I added the "Moroco Effect" to warm up the browns. I lessened the intensity of it and shrank the vignette around the edge. Final step was to add a small border around the edge of the photo. It sounds like it takes forever, but not really all that much.

@olivetreeann Actually writing this all down is good because you now know you can do it again!

@maggiemae Thank you Maggie! It's not the first time I've done it though, but yes, the more I do it, the quicker I've gotten at it. Practice makes perfect right?
