One more textural shot- but this time taking the smooth route. I also liked how the different colored apples changed significantly when converted to black and white. The bright greens became very light and the reds went much darker.

A nice close-up. How neat to think of including red and green apples together in the same shot. Intriguing to see the differences. I think I might have an apple for breakfast now! :)

nice composition... if you are using LR or PS, you'll have colour sliders that will let you play around with how the colours convert to black and white :)

@northy Thanks Northy! I don't have LR or PS, but I think I can do that in the program I have- I just haven't figured it out yet. Someday... Right now I'm more interested in figuring out the T3i!
